What key skills do we need to master during laser cutting?

1. Laser quenching technology, also known as laser processing phase change hardening, irradiates the focused laser processing beam to the surface of the steel material, causing its temperature to rapidly increase above the phase change point. When the laser processing is removed, since the internal material is still at a low temperature, its rapid thermal conductivity causes the surface to rapidly cool below the martensitic transformation point, thereby obtaining a hardened layer. This method has many advantages, including fast heating speed, high quenching hardness, controllable quenching parts, and no need to use quenching media.

2. Laser processing engraving machines, laser processing engraving machines, high-pressure boiler tubes, tungsten strands, electric car accessories, high-pressure boiler tubes, seamless tubes, powder metallurgy and dual-force laser processing surface fusion technology all use laser processing beams A method of heating the surface of a substrate above the melting temperature. When the laser processing beam is removed, the thermal conductive cooling inside the substrate causes the surface of the molten layer to rapidly cool and form solidification crystals, which is a surface treatment technology. This material is particularly suitable for reinforcing the surface of gray and ductile iron, thereby increasing its wear resistance.

3. Compared with other welding technologies, laser welding technology does not require the use of electrodes or filling materials, and can achieve a heating effect in a specific area, ensuring a high-speed heating process. Since there is no mechanical contact during the welding process, the possibility of entry of irrelevant substances into the parts being welded is eliminated and the welding zone is almost free of contamination. Welding can be performed on metals with high melting points, difficult-to-melt metals, or materials with different thicknesses and metallic properties. For example, by using laser technology to weld diamond circular saw blades and drill bits, not only can the bonding force between the base material and the diamond blade be enhanced, but its high geometric precision is particularly suitable for dry cutting operations, effectively avoiding the problem of tool falling off.
